Pixel Puzzle (Nonogram)
Use the number clues to fill in the grid and reveal a hidden picture!
How to Play
- Numbers at the side of rows/columns tell you the lengths of filled blocks in that line.
- For example, a "2 1" clue means there's a block of two filled cells, a gap, then a block of one filled cell.
- Left-click to fill a cell.
- Right-click to mark a cell with an 'X' (as empty).
- Fill all the correct cells to complete the picture and win!
What is a Nonogram?
A Nonogram, also known as Picross or Griddlers, is a picture logic puzzle. You use number clues for each row and column to determine which cells in a grid should be filled. When correctly solved, the grid reveals a hidden pixel art picture. It's a rewarding puzzle that combines logic, deduction, and a touch of creativity.
Tips & Strategies for Nonograms
Strategy 1: Find Certainties
In a 10-cell row with a clue "8", the middle 6 cells must be filled, regardless of where the block starts or ends. Use this to get a foothold in large-numbered rows and columns.
Strategy 2: Use the 'X' Mark
If you've completed a block or know a cell must be empty, right-click to mark it with an 'X'. This helps you visually narrow down possibilities and avoid mistakes.
Strategy 3: Cross-Reference
The information you gain from solving part of a row provides clues for the intersecting columns, and vice versa. Constantly switch between looking at rows and columns to make progress.
